The Jazz music scene seems limited to what is heard on the radio and television, but the reality is very different. This Jazz music visualisation zine aims to bring the genre closer to the public.
International and local bands interact on stage, creating unique, spontaneous and unrepeatable. I captured experience and photos from a bar in Melbourne where they have a Jazz band performance on the scene as elements in the magazine.
The magazine uses translucent paper with graphic 'Jazz' print on the cover as an introduction to the whole reading. Inspired by the rhythm and movement of jazz music, the typography, graphic elements and illustrations you can find on the inside pages aim to be rhythmic and festive while highlighting the main instruments used by this musical style.
